During the summer Jack gets really hot and overheated. Thanks to his puggie-ness he can’t regulate his breathing that well and when we try to get him to drink water he refuses. So we tried to think of something else to use. At some point we put ice cubes in the water to cool it off and the little bugger fished them out and started chopping down on them. Dexter joined him. Now when we go into the freezer and get out the ice tray both dogs come running into the kitchen and sit, waiting for their icy cold treat. I’m hoping to get some doggie ice cream this summer for them – we can sit outside on the stoop and they can make a mess of them.
